You’ll receive a custom branding questionnaire to look over before our first meeting, but don’t worry, you don’t have to take days filling it out. I prefer to ask you all of the questions in real-time, but you’ll have the questions ahead so you can mentally prep. Show up to our kick-off call as just yourself, and I’ll ask everything I need to know to get to know you on a meaningful level to be able to write on your behalf.

I’ll compile everything we discussed on our call and everything I learned in the research phase into a Brand Messaging Guide for you. Think of it like a moodboard for your words– a guide that you can reference again and again anytime you or a team member needs to write for your business. It’s a clear and concise document that outlines important pieces of your brand strategy, such as your positioning, mission and values, ideal client persona, brand personality and voice, and more.
This step also allows you to feel 100% confident that I understand your brand and your voice before I begin writing your copy.
You’ll receive your shiny new website copy in a wire-framed Google Doc, ready for your review. (Wire-framed is a fancy way of saying the copy is laid out visually like a website.) Grab your favorite bev, and dive in!
We’ll go through as many rounds of revisions as necessary until you’re over the moon with your new copy. I welcome all feedback with grace– if something isn’t working for you (it happens!), it’s more important to me that we figure out why than to hold the line on my original idea.

It’s what will determine the hierarchy of your website as well as your overall messaging strategy. And, your copy needs to be as long as it needs to be to get your message across to your audience. Whether you’re working with a designer or a DIY website template, you don’t want to force your words to fit into the website’s design.
